Singing walks

20220306_110333.jpg

Singing walks offer so much nourishment for the body and soul, I'm excited to be offering these one off walking and singing workshops, exploring our beautiful local nature space and connecting to it through song.

Singing is such a healing process, stimulating the vagus nerve in all the right ways and getting outdoors and bathing in nature enhances this healing ten fold.

What to expect?

The walks are around 2/3 hours, 2 miles long and usually about a 20 min drive from Bristol, I'm on the lookout for new walks so let me know if you have a recommendation. We will begin the walk with a song, that we carry with us as we go. We will then stop at certain points of interest along the way, learning songs by ear and singing them for ourselves and for the surrounding natural world.

We will engage in tree bathing and a section of the walk is taken in silence so that we open our ears and our bodies to the natural space.

The walks are £15 per singer, non-singing children/dependants are welcome free of charge.

"I loved all of it really. Particularly loved the listening to the trees. And the singing while walking for a little bit was fun. The songs were all lovely and wonderfully topical." Tamara

NEXT DATES:
